Solveigh Baramili

Director/ Senior Occupational Therapist

Bsc OT, Grad Dip Ed

Solveigh is an experienced and nationally registered Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a post graduate qualification in Primary Education. Solveigh is a fun and dynamic therapist who is passionate about partnering with families and teachers in helping children to reach their potential.

Solveigh has extensive experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist having worked across the Private, Not for Profit and Government sectors in Western Australia and New South Wales for ten years.


Solveigh is experienced in assessment and intervention for children age 2 to 17  years presenting with a full range of developmental concerns. 

 

Solveigh works with children who have developmental difficulties impacting on function in play, at school, at home and in the community. Children may or may not have a formal diagnosis.

 

Solveigh is experienced in working with children with specific diagnoses including Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Genetic disorders, vision and hearing impairment.

As an Occupational Therapist and a Teacher, Solveigh has a special interest in difficulties related to school participation and performance including: school readiness skills, fine and gross motor skills, visual perception, organisation, attention and concentration, sensory processing and social skills.

When Solveigh is not working she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, swimming, and dancing. She is also a qualified classical ballet teacher.
